Islamic Development Bank(IDB) has instituted an interest free loan scholarship for Muslim students to pursue professional education. Those who got admission to first year of a professional course can apply to this course.

Central Wakf Council Scholarship for Muslim Students

NTPC Scholarship for SC/ST/Physically Challenged Students

National Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC) has Instituted Scholarships for SC/ST/Physically Challenged students who are pursuing their Engineering education. Currently 35 scholarships, each amounts to 1500 a month. Those who have successfully completed their first year of Engineering education can apply for this scholarship.Another USP of this program is, Upon completion of the course students may called upon for an interview for the employment in NTPC.

Central Sector Scheme(CSS) of Scholarship For College and University Students

The Ministry of Human Resources Development(MHRD) has instituted Central Sector Scheme(CSS) scholarship to provide financial assistance to meritorious students who are financially backward.
The scholarship shall be awarded to the students who got admission to Graduate/postgraduate including professional colleges and who have scored a minimum 80% in their Higher Secondary(+2) Examination.
A total of 82000(41000 each for boys and girls) will be distributed state wise amongst pass outs of the Science, Commerce and Humanities streams of the Board in the ratio of 3:2:1 with equal number among boys and girls
The awardee will get 1000/Rs per month for the first three years and 2000/month for the rest of the two years. The renewal of the scholarship is based on the promotion to the next year , provided he/she should get a minimum of 60% mark

NTSE Scholarship for bright minds

NCERT has instituted National Talent Search Examination to find the bright minds in the country and help them to pursue their career goals. Every year NCERT is conducting examination. There are two level of examination, and the awardee will be give a som 500/- per month till his/her post graduation.

Also we can get Education loan from most of the banks even without a guranteer. Its proud to say "I am self educated, on the back of scholarship".
